The luxurious gardens leading up to the Albert I statue provide a charming spot to relax below. The statue of the “knightly king” faces towards his beloved Queen Elizabeth, whose statue is situated on the small Place de l’Albertine across the street.
The Mont des Arts is home to the KBR, the country’s main library and manuscript museum. Several significant museums and cultural institutions, such as the Royal Museums of Fine Arts with its famous Magritte Museum and the Museum of Musical Instruments (MIM), Bozar, the Brussels Congress Centre Square, and many others, are within easy walking distance.

Getting There
Mont des Arts is located in the very center of Brussels, just next to the Brussels Central Train station. Depending on your location in the city center, it may be possible to walk to Mont des Arts. It is approximately a 10 minute walk from the Grand Place.
