Belgium is excited to showcase its rich beer-making history and its whopping 430 breweries with a brand-new visitor center in Brussels. This center, known as Belgian Beer World, is located in the beautifully renovated Brussels Stock Exchange building.
Belgium is known for producing an impressive 1,600 different types of beer, and in 2016, its beer culture was recognized by UNESCO as a tradition worth preserving for future generations.
Belgian Beer World, you’ll find out about the four different ways Belgian beer is fermented and the tradition of each beer having its own unique branded glass.
Beer Tasting
With your admission ticket, you can have a 15cl tasting glass or non-alcoholic beverages for those who do not wish to drink alcohol or for children.
The Skybar and Shop
Don’t forget to visit the Skybar, where you can savor a Belgian beer while enjoying an uninterrupted view of Brussels from the expansive rooftop terrace. And if you want to take a piece of Belgian beer culture home with you, the shop offers a fantastic selection of beers and souvenirs for you to enjoy or share as gifts.
